Pastor Sal Charania faithfully served our nation for 20 years in the United States Air Force as a Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) operator, deploying 11 times alongside Army units, including the elite 3rd Ranger Battalion. Though raised in a Muslim home and later walking away from religion entirely, God met him in a moment of crisis and forever changed his life. In March of 2014, after returning from a combat deployment, he heard the gospel and placed his faith in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. In January of 2019, he answered God’s call to preach, and shortly after, pursued seminary training. He earned his Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty University, graduating with distinction in the summer of 2020, and is currently working toward a Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling. Pastor Sal has a heart for evangelism, discipleship, and helping people grow in their walk with the Lord.
He and his wife, Melanie, have been joyfully married since 2004. Melanie is a strong, compassionate woman who stood faithfully by his side through years of military service and now serves joyfully in ministry. She has a remarkable heart for people and is known for her creativity in the arts and her love for cooking—often using both to bless others and bring people together. Whether organizing youth fundraisers, decorating for church events, or preparing meals for large gatherings, she serves with joy and excellence. Together, they are raising three children: Raj, Yash, and Shania, and are prayerfully considering adoption as the Lord leads. As a family, their desire is to love God, love people, and create a church home where everyone is welcomed, encouraged, and pointed to the hope found only in Jesus Christ.
